Chocolate in a truly sophisticated manner – James may not approve initially, but once he’s tried it, the “shaken, not stirred” may well become “a martinilicious on the rocks, please”.

  • Chocolate sauce

  • ¼ cup dark chocolate flakes

  • 8 oz vodka

  • 4 oz chocolate liqueur

  • Ice

  • 12 raspberries, 3 each on a small cocktail stick

  • White chocolate, grated

  • Step 1

Place your martini glasses in the freezer for an hour.

  • Step 2

    Make your chocolate sauce.

  • Step 3

In a cocktail shaker, add the vodka, chocolate liqueur and ice. Shake.

  • Step 4

Dip the tops of your martini glasses in the chocolate sauce, and then dip into the dark chocolate flakes.

  • Step 5

Pour the mix from the cocktail shaker into the glasses, and then (optional) decorate with the grated white chocolate and place a cocktail stick with raspberries in the martini.
