When no one understands you, chocolate is there.


  • 4 large pears

  • 4 tbsp finely chopped nuts

  • 4 tbsp finely chopped apricots and dates

  • 4 tsp honey

  • 40 g dark chocolate callets


  • Step 1

    Slice the tops from the pears, and scoop out the core and the pips.

  • Step 2

    Combine the nuts, apricots, dates, honey and chocolate, and fill the pear.

  • Step 3

    Place a knob of butter on the top with the pear lid, and bake for about 20 minutes at 180C.
